History
With their humble beginnings in the family's craft stall in Melbourne's Queen Victoria marketplace, the founders soon realized the potential of fabrics and soon started their very first Spotlight store in 1973. Having undergone sufficient training from their family's stall, they had the expertise to create some of the most stunning fabric works of the time.
Morals
Spotlight takes its time to look out for the society among its fabric endeavors. They implemented the “Stitch in time” programme in 2006 to help women empower themselves by learning a skill that could be used to stabilize themselves financially. This helped underprivileged women carve out their own way in life by producing and selling products on the Spotlight store.
They have also partnered with the breast cancer research foundation, pink ribbon council and many more to help do their part for the society.
