Customers of both the tiers can also earn bonus points during special promotions and events. Once they have accumulated 500 points, they can choose to get a free book but only up to $5 in value. They can also earn a referral bonus of up to 15% discount for every successful purchase made through a referral. For those who are a member of the Reading Rewards Program, they are entitled to get a discount of 20%. However, these discount coupons cannot be used along with other coupons, sale items, 

ThriftDeals books or new books.  

Books can be either bought from their official website or through their smartphone applications, but it is to be noted that while they do offer worldwide shipping of their products, they do not ship new books outside the United States.
